Kelty Late Start 2P - Lightweight 2 Person Backpacking Tent

Featuring color-coded attachment points and convenient pole sleeves, the Kelty Late Start 2P tent is a breeze to set up for two people. Offering excellent ventilation and reliable durability at an affordable price, this tent delivers a satisfactory camping experience.

The tapered tent measures 85" x 54" at its widest point, providing an interior area of 29.5 square feet. With a peak height of 40 inches, the tent offers ample headroom. A single vestibule protects 7.85 square feet of storage space. The two pre-bent aluminum poles create extra room inside the tent, while the pockets at each corner keep the pole ends secure, preventing the common issue of poles jumping out of grommets.

Featuring a single door, the tent walls are made of No-see-um mesh, and the floor is constructed with tough 68 denier fabric that is water-resistant up to 1800 mm. Internal storage includes a ceiling pocket, and the tent body is protected by a waterproof 68 denier rainfly with all seams sealed to keep water out.

The freestanding design allows you to pitch the tent and then move it to find the best site. The tent includes Kelty's Shark Mouth stuff sack, designed for easy packing. Additionally, the custom-fit Kelty Late Start 2P Footprint (sold separately) can further protect the tent from wet ground, roots, and rocks.

Setting up the Kelty Late Start 2P tent is a breeze, thanks to Kelty's quickcorners and the pre-bent aluminum poles that create a formidable frame. The Shark Mouth stuff sack also makes packing up in the morning a straightforward task.

The tent's durability is assured with its 68D polyester fabrics in the bathtub-style floor and flysheet, which are waterproof and built to last. The roomy interior sports a peak height of up to 56 inches within a simple single-door design.

The full-coverage rainfly in 68D Polyester with 1200 mm coating and additional guyouts provide ample airflow even in rough conditions, keeping the interior dry and your gear safe.
